Role Name: Design Engineer
Key Responsibilities:
- Design new engineering products & processes
- Craft models and drawings of products
- Research new product ideas and methods
- Find creative design solutions to problems
- Present proto types and design to customers
Tasks & Activities:
- Meeting with marketing / client teams to discuss packaging specifications & confirm budget
- Evaluating market trends and analyzing similar packaging designs
- Ensuring packaging designs accurately representing the company’s brand and ethos
- Selecting functional ideas and creating packaging mock-up’s
- Identifying suitable packaging materials and conducting feasibility studies depending upon need
- To develop a range of packaging concepts in coordination with the finalized product, so that the packaging is compatible
- To prepare documentation in line with engineering protocols and regulations
- Need to work closely with different teams and implement processes of product packaging and help them technically
- Brain storming packaging ideas using design software
- Need to update the bill of material and must be accurate on the quantity and UOM
- Should be having good knowledge on packaging sector, both corrugated and wooden packaging
Experience Required: 3-5 years of Experience
